Could we have the following new term? - spheroplast?

I've asked around the consortium for this one, and it seems as though spheroplasts are artificial structures which don't occur naturally and can only be generated by chemical treatment, so we can't include this term. I know that some of those cell fraction terms are similar, but we will be obsoleting a lot of those soon so we don't want to add any more.

If you let me know what enzyme this is for, I can try and find an alternative term.

Ive also asked around my Brenda colleages for this and weve come to the agreement to keep this term (and also the term protoplast), because weve no alternative term for this up to now. We dont want to assign it to "cell", we can`t assign it to "intracellular" or "microsome", as it could be both... Do you have any suggestions for an alternative localization term? There are a few enzymes in our database which are described to be localized in/ prepared from the spheroplast: EC-Number 1.12.99.1 coenzyme F420 hydrogenase, Methanospirillum hungatei 1.2.1.48 long-chain-aldehyde dehydrogenase, Candida stellatoidea 1.6.2.4 NADH-ferrihemoprotein reductase, Homo sapiens 2.3.2.13 protein-glutamine gamma glutamyltransferase, Physarum polycephalum 2.7.4.1 polyphosphat kinase, Salmonella minnesota 3.1.3.21 glycerol-1-phosphatase, Saccharomyces uvarum 3.1.4.2 glycerophosphocholine phosphodiesterase, Saccharomyces uvarum 3.2.1.23 beta-galactosidase, Bacillus sp.
