Having skimmed the paper, I see that the methyltransferase in question is the one that hypermethylates the cap on some RNAs, including both snRNAs and snoRNAs. Because it's the same reaction for both types of RNA, I've used 'snRNA methyltransferase' as a related synonym.
The term I added is ' RNA trimethylguanosine synthase activity' GO:0071164.
Also see SF 1655946, which I refer to more extensively in the nsnRNA methylation item: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1655946&group\_id=36855&atid=440764
