From Tanya:
definition of plasmodesmatal desmotubule: this is the definition of "cuticle"
definition of plasmodesmatal ER: this is the definition of "cutin"
plasmodesma: not sure, but might be the definition of a component of the bacterial cell wall

I have found three definitions that don't match the term they're defining. They are: "Paracrystalline assemblies of several dozen (1,4)beta-D-glucan chains hydrogen bonded to one another along their length." (plasmodesma)
"A layer of fatty material, primarily comprised of cutin, rather impervious to water, located on the outer walls of epidermal cells." (plasmodesmatal desmotubule)
"A complex fatty substance considerably impervious to water; present in plants as an impregnation of epidermal walls and as a separate layer, the cuticle, on the outer surface of the epidermis." (plasmodesmatal ER)
The IDs are in the TAIR range and two of the 3 defs came from a book about seed plant anatomy. Any ideas as to what they're supposed to be defining?
