Hi Jane sorry,

I wanted dolichol-linked oligosaccharide biosynthesis added as a term that could be searched as I thought an annotator was more likely to search on this (or a substring of) rather than oligosaccharide-PP-dolichol assembly

Perhaps the term should be changed to this anyway (more common in google), as biosynthesis is usually used for macromolecules and assembly for multi subunit complexes ????

( they appear to be the same thing .....or is there a subtle differnce, in which case requier a new term)

Hi Val - just done a bit of reading and it looks like 'dolichol-linked oligosaccharide biosynthesis' does mean the same as 'oligosaccharide-PP-dolichol assembly' except that no-one uses 'oligosaccharide-PP-dolichol' any more (one paper in PubMed from 1985!). I'll add a defintion, change the name to 'dolichol- linked oligosaccharide biosynthesis' and add the old name as a synonym.
