Pheophoridase activity

Hi, Could a child of GO:0004091; carboxylesterase activity be created - pheophoridase activity (EC 3.1.1.82),

And could an inter-ontology link be made from this term to: GO:0033310 chlorophyll a catabolic process ?

Hi Emily,

I've added in the new term: pheophoridase activity ; GO:0035560

In terms of the process-function links, is chlorophyll a breakdown the only role for the enzyme, do you know? thanks, Becky

Thanks! From the little I've read it appears always to be involved in this BP, but I wouldn't be confident enough to to say it was the only BP this enzyme activity contributes towards.
