By default, OBO-Edit keeps merged term names as synonyms, but a curator can delete them if there's a reason. Based on the EC entry, I think an exact synonym would be incorrect in this case, but I've added 'tRNA isopentenyltransferase activity' back as a related synonym so you can find the term.
http://www.chem.qmul.ac.uk/iubmb/enzyme/EC2/05a.html\#75 especially the comment "Formerly known as tRNA isopentenyltransferase (EC 2.5.1.8), but it is now known that dimethyallyl diphosphate, rather than isopentenyl diphosphate, is the substrate"

Ah I see, If you don't think it is appropirate, no need to keep it. I just couln't figure out why the old term wasn't referred to so it was just a check really,

GO:0004811 used to be called tRNA isopentenyltransferase activity
but is now merged with tRNA dimethylallyltransferase activity GO:0052381
However, tRNA dimethylallyltransferase activity is not an exact synonym of GO:0052381 can this be added (if correct)
Thanks
