IL4-dependent isotype switching to IgE isotypes #8425

Closed gocentral closed 9 years ago

GO:0048289 isotype switching to IgE isotypes >GO new:IL4-dependent isotype switching to IgE isotypes (Synonym: interleukin-4 dependent sotype switching to IgE isotypes) >> GO new: positive regulation of IL4-dependent isotype switching to IgE isotypes >> GO new: negative regulation of IL4-dependent isotype switching to IgE isotypes

also possible >GO new:IL4-dependent isotype switching to IgE isotypes could be a child of GO:0002824 positive regulation of adaptive immune response based on somatic recombination of immune receptors built from immunoglobulin superfamily domains >>GO:0002830 positive regulation of type 2 immune response as well a child of GO:0002714 positive regulation of B cell mediated immunity

cheers Evelyn Ref:12496423 , P43488, pos reg, il4-dep switching igE. These data suggested that, in the absence of OX40/OX40L interactions, the humoral response, particularly with respect to IL-4-dependent class-switching to IgE, was impaired during both the primary and secondary immune responses to H. polygyrus. (note IL4 is considered to promote type 2 immune responses).

Please use IL-4 with a hyphen in these term names, as it is the name of the protein. IL4 is the symbol for the gene that encodes IL-4.

Thanks,

Alex

Added: interleukin-4 dependent isotype switching to IgE isotypes ; GO:0035708 synonym: IL-4-dependent isotype switching to IgE isotypes

I'll let you add the regulation terms with your new TermGenie freedom Evelyn!

Also, are you saying that GO:0035708 could be made a child of 3 regulation processes? Is it always involved in positive regulation of those processes?
