KDM NTR: pronephric glomerulus morphogenesis #8541

Hi, I will need the following new term for annotation of zebrafish osr1 (Q5XJQ7) in PMID:18787069 (IMP). Although this paper has been annotated by ZFIN already I think a more specific term is required for it's role in zebrafish kidney development.

GO:0039021 pronephric glomerulus development ---< [isa] pronephric glomerulus morphogenesis GO:NEW [defn: The process in which the anatomical structures of the pronephric glomerulus are generated and organized. The pronephric glomerulus is part of the pronephric nephron and is restricted to one body segment. Comment This term is intended for annotation of fish and other organisms which contain a glomerulus as part of the pronephric nephron. It should not be used for annotation of Xenopus, which contains a pronephric glomus rather than a glomerulus.]

Thanks, Yasmin

I will also need the following (same PMID + same gene - IMP)

GO:0072014 proximal tubule development --[isa] pronephric proximal tubule development GO:NEW [def: The progression of the pronephric proximal tubule over time, from its formation to the mature structure. A pronephric nephron tubule is an epithelial tube that is part of the pronephros.]

GO:0072017 distal tubule development --[isa] pronephric distal tubule development GO:NEW [def: The process whose specific outcome is the progression of the pronephric distal tubule over time, from its formation to the mature structure. A pronephric nephron tubule is an epithelial tube that is part of the pronephros.]

GO:0072160 nephron tubule epithelial cell differentiation ---<[isa] pronephric nephron tubule epithelial cell differentiation GO:NEW (IMP) [defn: The process in which relatively unspecialized cells acquire specialized structural and/or functional features that characterize the cells of the pronephric nephron tubule as it progresses from its formation to the mature state.]

GO:0001568 blood vessel development --[part of] angioblast cell differentiation GO:NEW

GO:0060217 hemangioblast cell differentiation --[isa] angioblast cell differentiation GO:NEW [def: The differentiation of angioblasts, cells involved in blood vessel development. Angioblasts are one of the two products formed from hemangioblasts (the other being pluripotential hemopoietic stem cells).]. --<[isa] regulation of angioblast cell differentiation GO:NEW --.[isa] negative regulation of angioblast cell differentiation GO:NEW (IMP+IGI for pax2a_M with osr1_M)

thanks Y

Hi Yasmin, Your new terms are: pronephric glomerulus morphogenesis ; GO:0035775 pronephric proximal tubule development ; GO:0035776 pronephric distal tubule development GO:0035777 pronephric nephron tubule epithelial cell differentiation ; GO:0035778 angioblast cell differentiation ; GO:0035779

(I added angioblast cell differentiation ; GO:003577 as a direct child of 'cell differentiation' rather than 'hemangioblast differentiation' to match the cell ontology.)

Thanks, Becky
