Reporting from the CL-INCF Neuron Workshop (ongoing)

The neuroscientists present at the workshop object to the name of "nerve-nerve transmission ; GO:0007270". The name should be changed to "neuron-neuron transmission", which matches the existing definition of the term "The process of communication from a neuron to another neuron across a synapse."

A neuron is a cell type; a nerve is anatomical a fiber which may contain multiple neuron axons. The two words are not synonymous.

Edited name of GO:0007270 from "nerve-nerve synaptic transmission" to "neuron-neuron synaptic transmission".
