NTR: GABAergic neuron differentiation

I'd like to request a new BP term, GABAergic neuron differentiation, to annotate UNC-30, the Pitx2 ortholog in C. elegans.

GO:0030182 neuron differentiation is_a GO:NEW GABAergic neuron differentiation is_a GO:0021858 GABAergic neuron differentiation in basal ganglia

The new term would be a parent to an existing term, GO:0021858 GABAergic neuron differentiation in basal ganglia.

A suggested definition: The process in which a neuroblast acquires the specialized structural and functional features of a GABAergic inhibitory neuron.

The reference I'm using to annotate is: PMID:11517269

Hi Kimberly, this is done:

Added new term: GO:0097154 GABAergic neuron differentiation

and made GO:0021858 GABAergic neuron differentiation in basal ganglia a child of the new term.

In the def of the parent term GABAergic neuron differentiation, I left the "inhibitory" bit out as it seems that not all GABAergic neurons are inhibitory (i.e. involved in inhibitory synapses).
