Hi,
Please may I have the following new terms:
as a child of protein biosynthesis: S100 beta biosynthesis S100 alpha biosynthesis
as a child of protein binding: S100 beta binding S100 alpha binding TAU binding
Where S100 is a small calcium & zinc binding protein produced in astrocytes which is NB in Alzheimers, Down Syndrome and ALS.
TAU is a microtubule-associated protein also NB in the same diseases. TAU binds S100.. S100 homodimerizes and heterodimerizes
