I would like to see “establishment of blood-testis barrier” added as a child term of “Sertoli cell development” (GO:0060009). The definition could be “A structure near the basement membrane in adjacent Sertoli cells of the seminiferous epithelium for maintaining spermatogenesis. The structure consists of tight junction, basal ectoplasmic specialization, and desmosome-like junction. Synonym: “establishment of BTB”. PMID:19509333
