Until we have an implementation that handles the EXTENDS construct (see https://github.com/iovka/shex-java/issues/7 ), I don't think we want to add the CLOSED parameter to our shapes.
But, I have implemented some procedural code checks that have a similar result for the interim. The changes to the schema here reflect additions to shape definitions that would be needed for a CLOSED view and that are needed for reactome models to pass validation.
