The autosuggest based on previous values is very helpful for saving curation time, but it should only autosuggest values associated with what has been used in a given field previously. This will prevent possible curation errors or having to look through potentially long lists with irrelevant suggestions.
Here is an example where all of the genes used with 'enabled by' are now showing up in the autosuggest for the 'happens during' annotation extension:
