As reported by @LiNiMGI, it is not possible to edit/replace an obsolete ontology term in the Noctua form table.
The autocomplete doesn't work for the corresponding ontology, e.g. BP for a BP term; but curators can replace the term with other terms already in the model (i.e. from the add existing term list).
Perhaps this has to do with obsolete terms no longer having a root type?
