[ ] What do you think is responsible for the transport of the proteins in and out of the nucleus? I think we need to investigate this. I suspect it is the pore, but there has to be a regulatory mechanism. Likely an importin.

For the import of mouse PKA into the nucleus, I've annotated Akip1 with a gene, which seems to have a required binding function to PKA to get it into the nucleus according to Sastri et al. 2005. See my model for its inclusion.
