I will create a more intuitive interface to add your genes of interest as for the moment, you have to specify them in the URL itself.

Additional comment: if possible, the ribbon should be able to handle rapidly hundreds of genes and if possible a few thousands

Also update demo page to have an input field to further refine the list of genes

Screen Shot 2019-04-29 at 10 34 50 With longer gene symbols (I am assuming that's the issue), species icon and gene symbol end up on different lines, which makes gap in matrix - could you fix wrapping so that icon and gene symbol are always on same line?

FYI: Have just made issue for Alliance expression ribbon stack wrt slim highlighting not working for ribbons under the top row: https://agr-jira.atlassian.net/browse/AGR-1565 The GOC stack here shows the same behaviour.
