CIP stands for Community Improvement Proposal. A CIP is a design document providing information to the Genesis community, or describing a new feature for Genesis or its processes or environment. The CIP should provide a concise technical specification of the feature and a rationale for the feature. The CIP author is responsible for building consensus within the community and documenting dissenting opinions.

This is a living document, so please feel free to discuss here, and we can improve this process.

Genesis is misspelled in line one of the final paragraph of the Genesis hub page... ie

IMPROVEMENTS Geneis is, and always will be, a work in progress. You can make change happen. Find a typo in the site? Open a pull request on the Genesis Github. Or, if you have a suggestion you want to implement, head over to the Community Improvement Proposals, and start to make your mark on the future of Genesis.
