symfony/console required version issue #23

While following the installation steps for Valet-Linux-Plus I have come across a problem during the composer global require genesisweb/valet-linux-plus step. I attached a picture to show it more clearly since I am not the best at explaining, but a lot of stuff seems to be requiring symfony/console ~5.0 at least now and it obviously causes conflicts with this since it only supports up to ~4.0. I was wondering if this was in the works in the future or is there are currently any work around for it that people have found?

We have upgraded versions of the dependency, we apologize for the long inactivity on the project, because of some other priority works, but now we have started the maintanance and upgrading the package.
