Rewrite or at least re-test datastore downloader code #132

Mark can strip out much of the superfluous logs, jpegs etc from the datastore tarballs. We need to do a test of download (and unpack) speed.

This may involve completely rewriting Joel's downloader.

Datastore downloader code seems to be behaving itself for the time being. I've added the latest version of the downloader scripts to this repository.
