This may be done intentionally but is confusing for newbies.
Expected behavior
after initial installing latest version (v1.2-beta.2) the update icon displays clicking on it opens the maintenance screen showing a new update is available this is the same version just installed.
clicking on update downloads and allows one to install
Actual behavior
installing newest version should not display a new version is available if it is the version just installed.
what ever HG is looking for should be included in the installer
Steps to reproduce the problem starting from a fresh install
install v1.2-beta.2
open web browser to HG
download icon displays on top right click on it
update shows v1.2-beta.2 as a new update release
performing the update removes the update icon and displace you as having latest update
