I believe this a very good feature to have. Maybe with a select which stories to sync page as well for future features.

It can become quite annoying that you have to first open in a web browser and then share to fanfictionreader app to get your favourites.

Maybe add a select to sync option into the existing Favourites and Follows menu.

I've never been able to log in to fanfiction.net with the app so you'll need to explain what you mean by sharing from a web browser to fanfictionreader app to me.

I currently use a app called Flashify to share URL to another app that can open it. And when I have old story's I want on the app I then open in web browser and share/flashify them to open them in FanFiction Reader. Is there a way that another FFReader app used to do that hasn't been updated in years to download the entire favorites list of you own profile to save on time and set a sync time say once a day after full sync to check for updates and a force sync in case connection goes bad?

FanFiction reader has a built in ability to access the "Favorites" and "Follows" data of your fanfiction.net account. It currently does not work well, for reasons the app creator is currently unable to determine. He says it works for some people and not others, even when those people are using the same device, and doesn't work at all for some devices. I've tried on four different android devices, two from Samsung, one from ASUS, and one from LG, and it didn't work on any of them.

I typically just add stories to the app using the Fanfiction.net Story ID number. In the FanFiction Reader app, under "My Library", you'll see three dots in the upper right. Tapping them will show "Add Story by ID." Tapping that will open a new box that says "Download by ID" and has a text input field where you can enter the Story ID number of the fanfic you want to add.

To find a Story ID number for a fanfic just look at it's URL code. For example, the Harry Potter fanfic "H J Potter" has the following URL: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/5093897/1/H-J-Potter The Story ID number is the set of numbers after the "/s/" part of the code. Additionally, you can find it by looking at the story information that appears at the top of the page in a browser while in desktop mode. It is the very last bit of info after the story "Status." In the case of the story example here it shows as: Updated: Jun 16, 2013 - Published: May 28, 2009 - Status: Complete - id: 5093897 The ID number is that set of numbers at the end.
