Getting "insufficient Priviliges" when drag/drop-ing files to NTFS drive, but "save-as" writes fine #257

Using my MacBook Pro (Intel,OSX.4.10,2.16ghz) with MacFuse and NTFS-3g
installed, the ext. drive and internal partition mount as "you can read and
write" but when I try to drag and drop, I get the message "...you do not
have sufficient privileges for some of the items."

The real strange thing is, when I try to do any kind of "save as" (ie, even
when unzipping archived files), it writes to the volumes without a hitch.
I have about 15 very large (7-20GB) video files I must transfer. Any
thoughts at all? At this point after weeks of searching, I'd be open to
any kind of work-around as well.

I'm fairly sure I have the most updated versions of Macfuse and the NTFS-3g
driver. Where do I find this info?

Thanks,

To begin with, please repost this in the macfuse-devel forum, so that people
can offer ideas/help--all the more
important because I don't use ntfs-3g, so I can't offer much insight.

If it turns out that this is an issue with MacFUSE Core, then it would be
appropriate to open a issue here.

Sorry, I thought I was in the right place, I'll do that - thanks.
