sshfs volumes do not appear in Finder #371

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run sshfs, connect to remote server
2. Finder does not show new volumes, even if relaunched
3. Check in Terminal (ls /Volumes), the mount points exist, the contents can be 
listed, volumes 
can be unmounted with umount

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The volumes need to show up in Finder. I don't know if this is a Finder issue, 
since the mount 
points are there, but perhaps something can be done to notify Finder? Since 
there is no feedback 
from sshfs, it looks like the mount failed, when it worked fine.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
sshfs 1.0.0 on OS 10.5.4 on an Intel Mac
