Allow adding additional data to entities #39

Motivation

For the UI and also for many projects there is a common desire to save additional data to various entities.

Example Use Cases

Project configuration - API keys, configuration URLs, etc. (Could also be stored as a node instead)
User configuration - Save state from UI (preferred language, last opened node, etc.)
Schema configuration - Icon to display in UI ...

Challenges

Permission handling - Maybe only allow plugins to store additional data to entities
Prevent abuse - It could happen that data will be stored as additional data even though it should have been stored in a node
