This issue is for an initial discussion and requirements gathering.

Choose an open source editor with support of

left-to-right (LTR)
right-to-left (RTL) as used in
Arabic
Hebrew
Farsi and integrate it with the mesh-UI.

Requirements

mix characters from different scripts on the same page, regardless of writing direction.
compatible licence or easy integration on deployment
Unicode base
Accessibility support, see i.e https://www.access-for-all.ch/en/
