Hello,

I was running vmware-workstation-12.5.4.5192485 with vmware-modules-308.5.4 on Funtoo Linux with debian-sources 4.9.18 very well

Today updated the overlay to app-emulation/vmware-workstation-12.5.6.5528349 and now getting kernel panic when installing/loading vmware-tools on Windows 10 VM

Very weird.

Downgraded to 12.5.4.5192485 same error.
