@lawrencech3n Thanks for all the work so far and also thanks for asking! This could be solved by:

Open your GitHub repository page.
Click on the "Settings" option.
In the left-hand menu, locate the "Features" section.
Ensure the checkbox next to "Issues" is checked.
After saving the changes, you should see the "Issues" option on the main page of the repository.
