I'm curious what version of Android you are running, because everything I've read seems to say that termux isn't really supported on anything after android 10, and even 10 has issues. I was looking into running termux, but I have android 13 I believe.

Hey @dougstanley, I didn't know that but I believe you're right and that makes me a bit sad. My tablet is an old one and runs Android 11, so I'm fine for now. But it seems once that thing dies it might be game over.

I'll keep watching, maybe they'll make some new implementation to get a VM or sandbox container on Android. But in the meantime, it looks like I'm stuck with doing remote dev using one of the vs-code derivatives in a browser...
