Archiving project

Since I am no longer working on this project, it will get archived soon.

I was a long-time Sailfish user (more then 10 years) but all the small remaining bugs which never got fixed are the reason for me to close this chapter for now. Currently I use a Lineage Phone as daily driver since some weeks and go in parallel with PostmarketOS.

Thank you to all the contributors of this project! Once, this project won a TOHKBD [1] which was made for the original Jolla1. I want to forward that to one of the following contributors (for free, only shipping cost is on you ;-)) if you still have a Jolla1.

Thank you for Shmoose, I used it extensively while I was on Sailfish. :heart: I too jumped ship last November, for similar reasons. So I'll pass on the TOHKBD, but thanks for the offer :)

Ah, sad but thanks for doing shmoose! I understand both the workload to provide an usable xmpp app and the frustration with sailfishOS and wish you best for future projects!

:( Thank you for allowing me to get seriously involved in developing Sailfish on Shmoose and porting Kaidan to Sailfish. Today, I'm wondering about the time I'm spending on it, about Sailfish's recurring problems and challenges, and I don't see a bright future for it.

Personally, I am quite impressed with what is already possible with PostmarketOS. So I will definitely continue with this OS.

If any of you change your mind about the TOHKBD, just let me know.

I will now archive this project. Maybe we will see each other again in some other open source mobile application development :-).
