It would also be important to clarify what this tool would be doing to prevent finding & replacing text inadvertently. For example, would it search for any instance of a text string or could this be qualified by the full field? For example, search in all Provenance fields for "Michigan" as the complete field. This would allow the user to select fields with the value "Michigan", but not "Michigan State."
CSV exports and imports working smoothly, so moving this to a Low priority. A better use of time might be to improve Advanced Searching options in GEOMG
