It is sometime difficult to select exactly the time period you want to look at (if you don't know the numerical dates). A useful feature would be for both the startDate and endDate to have each a backward and forward button as shown below (the buttons can be tiny). If you hit the backward button for the startDate then it would use the next earlier startDate, etc
