Problem setting GRASS mapset #12

Hi,

I'm trying to set the GRASS mapset for JGRASS but I'm getting an error when
attempting to add the mapset path (JGRASS > Mapset settings > g.setmapset):

'This is not a valid GRASS mapset folder. Please supply a valid mapset folder.'

My GIS BASE is: /home/user/grassdata
Example of mapset: /home/user/grassdata/location/mapset

Thanks for your assistance.

Richard

Downloaded JGRASS: udig_migg2010_lin32.tar.gz
I'm using Version: 1.2-M9
System: Ubuntu Lucid

Hi Richard,
can you post me an: ls -al /home/user/grassdata/location/mapset

I am wondering if something is wrong with the files in there to make it look as
if it was no mapset?

Aside, did you consider to use the new JGrass? That would be the Spatial
Toolbox together with the JGrasstools libs. Those have had many many bugfixes
since the JGrass version you are using and also it handles GRASS rasters
seamlessly. You do not have to set GRASS mapsets or anything related. You can
also read ESRI ascii or tiffs and write the result into a GRASS mapset (or the
way round).
A summary would be here:
