@martinRenou, it seems that some ui tests were using the example/test.jGIS file: https://github.com/geojupyter/jupytergis/blob/67299748479e7105157f3f42e9a70c0fb94b5a9d/ui-tests/tests/layer-browser.spec.ts#L109

Right! My bad for merging this too fast 😁

We should not depend on the examples directory for tests anymore though. Let's just rely on ui-tests/tests/gis-files
