unreadable after writing 5 lines #53

First of all thanks for the great work !!!

A little bug I noticed:

After writing more than 5lines it´s no more possible to read your own
written text, the textbox automatically scrolls too far down !!
When in writing mode ! Taking away the QWERTY helps.

And the damn "abbrechen" / cancel button ist just unnecessary. destroyed
what I wrote several times....maybe better with confirmation !?

by "text scrolls too far down" you mean: the first line is hidden?

in previous versions i set the activity to "resize" but this did not work for
all as
well..

I have the same issue. After writing five lines, the entered text moves upwards
and
you have a completely empty text box.
Attched two pictures: Good shows how it's working just fine (though it's hard
to see
the text), bad shows the same SMS after adding another word. All the sms text
is
still there but moved outside the screen to the top.

hm. what type is that software keyboard?
when i try to reproduce it with the buildin one, the text scrolls as far as it
should.
did you tried this with the other layout?

Standard HTC. I did not install any keyboard at all. But it's also a direct
HTC, so
not a T-Mobile rebrand.
Does that sorta answer the question?

keyboard.

but anyway, please try the other layout (with the buttons on the buttom)

Would if I could. Sorry for the dumb-ass question, but how do I change the
layout?
Couldn't find anything that would move the buttons.

And yes, it's HTC Sense.

it's hidden by the "no keyboard" option :D

Working fine with the "no keyboard" option disabled. Then the last two lines of
the
sms are still readable when the intial text box is full.

Btw the "no keyboard" function only worked for me after I killed the App. A
restart
(as done automatically)did not do the trick.

ok, i wont fix this in websms-2.x anymore.
i removed the "touch" layout in 3.x anyway.

layout switching is only possible at app startup. that's why it works only with
a
kill+restart.
