Explanation of full detail v simplified in output data #899

Despite being a regular user of the service, I would find it useful if there was an explanation on the download page where one exports an excerpt as to what the difference between "full detail" and "simplified" output is. Even a hyperlink to the relevant part of the documentation would be useful. Thanks!
