Is this project still alive? Nothing has been committed since 2016.

FBReader became proprietary (previously discussed at https://www.reddit.com/r/fdroid/comments/8yhtp5/fbreader_not_updated_on_fdroid/).

Development of the freely licensed app continues at https://gitlab.com/axet/android-book-reader (https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.github.axet.bookreader/ ).
