We could have a template for the provider contribution PR's? I'm thinking what it needs to have in the codebase (the JSON edited with the new provider), and also on the message (e.g. include a thumbnail or map to see what it looks like?

Maybe another section of the PR for contribution can be contextily code showing what it looks like?
