Download offline maps ends immediately #65

Trying to download an offline map, the process starts but suddently stops. The Completed attribute is shown in the maps list. In the maps folder the main folder has been created (i.e. Europe) but no files are saved.

Experienced the same with the off-line map for Australia. I guess that SMASH needs time to generate mbtiles for the higher zoom levels and the interface does not suggest that this is happening in the background. I downloaded the map again and just let the application run for a while without disturbance and the Australia map appeared. Also look in the layers list opened from the map window, click the folded map icon on the right and see if the map is listed in the list of maps on the device. You should see both the map and the mbtiles that are generated. SMASH 1.6.4 IMG_0721

In my case the file was downloaded for a while (like 100MB) but it was not able to visualize it, I think SMASH should show a warning/error message to tell the user that something is wrong with the offline map
