must work

write extensive and precise documentation that does not assume the user is 
stupid, but nonetheless, anybody should perform the configuration . may not be 
as huge as you think. 

maybe provide a tool that says "this is an mpi job!" . does bsub not do this 
already?

look into it as soon as the damn thing compiles cleanly in Debian 
Squeeze/Wheezy/Jessie and RedHat 5/6/7 ?

TAKE LOTS OF GOOD NODES, DUMMY, AS TO HOW IT IS CONFIGURED AND HOW IT WORKS

give plenty of examples with applications: bioinformatics, cad, fluid dynamics, 
whatever
