hence, if $user comes around with an app, it can be classified as to 
dependencies and maybe packaged in the minimum amount of time?

especially if the application developer is wrong and can be satisfied with any, 
but he is requesting a specific version because that was what was on his laptop 
and did not bother to extensively test?
