REST API: have it #143

got to look into a REST-ful API extension, by which the engine can be pushed to 
perform jobs directly from http, if needed, or manage the jobs over a restful 
API

or accept "cloud" jobs

that way we can go over HTTP/S and ease our job? maybe. 

libcurl?

will need metrics to see how fast this can go back and forth for request.
