The description of problem

Since it's been 8 months since any activity by the owner, and 11 months since the last release (which is broken and cannot be installed) I think it's fair to call this repo abandoned (for now). I hope George Zhao is doing alright.

For the sake of those landing here trying to install this HACS add-on and control their Midea devices, it's worth calling this out and giving advice for how to get their Midea devices working.

After looking around myself and even briefly starting my own fork, I've found this fork to be the most actively maintained: https://github.com/wuwentao/midea_ac_lan

Maybe one day this one will come back, but as the install is broken, it's not a great default anymore.

My opinion for anyone who lands here trying to get Midea AC Lan to work, is to add https://github.com/wuwentao/midea_ac_lan as a Custom repo to HACS instead of using this repo.
