New IMI feature or discussion

Running list of issues to fix for the next IMI AMI:

• Currently vim is the text editor installed by default. Emacs users need to run sudo apt-get install emacs. For the next AMI we should have emacs installed by default.
• fix slurm status drained issue that seems to occur on smaller instances
• Ensure jupyter finds the right environment:

  $ conda activate imi_env
  $ python -m ipykernel install --user --name=imi_env --display-name "Python (imi_env)"

Notes from Dan:

• add in jupyter dependencies to environment:

  sudo apt install juypter-core
  sudo apt install juypter-notebook
