I feel like you are doing yourself a disservice by having Airborne surveys split up in FDEM and TDEM without talking about Airbone EM in general. This way one could start out by mentioning the things both methods have in common (general things about Airborne EM), then one could briefly highlight the key differences between the methods, before then diving into the two different methods.

I like your suggestion. Intro. page of Airborne EM will provide a big picture on airborne EM survey. On that intro. we can briefly introduce some key ideas such as

Frequency domain: alternating current (mostly data is ratio between primary and secondary voltage)
Time domain: Half-duty cycle current (having on- and off-time; mostly data is secondary voltage at off-time)
