@dromagnoli I've added another commit, "MosaicOpImage excess memory allocation and needless operations", which brings the jai-ext mosaic op in line, performance wise, with the JAI one. Want to have a look?

The build is failing on Travis for the most different reason (one failure in jt-vectorbin, the next in the stats module) and locally I cannot reproduce... weird weird...
