The idea of using the execution requests, to replace the client's localStorage and obtain the status of ongoing processes, doesn't apply to uploads.
I suppose that for the moment it's not a problem, since the resource won't be vidible until the upload completes, and the upload page will continue to use the uploads progress endpoint.
