Cant't get Gists on Intellij 14 #13

If I try to generate Gist Templates, I am getting this kind of error message: IDE internal error occurred. The error code is presented below:

Hi Guys. Sorry for keeping you waiting. The way the plugin provides code snippets in the editor window is kind of a hack. It does not use the public API so every major release of Intellij actually breaks the plugin.

I'm no longer actively maintaining it as you may have noticed. But I would really like to create a new version of this plugin with a narrower scope. Namely, maintaining only the latest version of IntelliJ instead of having spaghetti code and try to maintain backward compatibility.

I don't have the time to do this right now but that's definitely in the backlog :smile:
