Cannot install Google Data API SDK for .Net

[GoogleCodeExporter]

My problem is that I cannot install Google Data API SDK for .Net:

1. My computer has Windows Vista and Visual Studio 2008.
2. I download file Google Data API Setup(1.2.2.0).msi and install it.
3. The installation process fails. See attached image.

How can I install it correctly?

More information:
It happens with current version 1.2.2.0. It also fails in 1.2.1.0. I have not 
checked
older versions.

that error is rather cryptic... hard to figure out what is happening there. I 
assume you tried redownloading 
etc.? 

There is probably something wrong with the setup (which is standard MSI 
installation system from VS 2005) 
on your system. Can you download the zip file and use that? As this seems to be 
an isolated problem, and i 
have no way of verifying/reproducing the problem, i am at a loss. 

You COULD start the MSI in debug/log mode and send me the logs though, that 
might help isolate what's 
wrong.

Otherwise, i would recommend using the .zip file?
