Thank you for the info, I will check that screen size. The good news is that on my other laptop and on Mono I see similar issues so it is reproducible by me. Always an important first step in solving a problem :-)
I will be finished packing up our place in a few days after which I can get back to working on updates/fixes for Grbl-Panel.
@srsimmons I tried a variety of resolutions on my Windows 8.1 laptop and its additional IPS monitor. The window happily stretches and shrinks. And I can't repro it on the other laptop anymore :-( What OS and version are you using?
I'm running Win7 Pro 64bit SP1 with current updates on a Dell Latitude D630 with 4GB RAM, Core2 Duo CPU @ 2.20Ghz, integrated video. Additional monitors via DisplayLink USB->DVI adapters.
I see the same issues with V1.0.2.0. Would a screen shot be helpful?
Yes, please attach here or send to my email address. I will try tonight on a Win 7 VM.
This is maximized on the laptop primary screen (1440x900).
This is maximized on the secondary screen (1600x1200).
As mentioned in the other issue thread, changing the display setting from 125% to 100% removes the overlap.
Finally fixed in V1.0.3.0
My laptop has a 1440x900 screen and cannot properly display the app. I suspect this is due to the issues you list earlier with horizontal stretch, etc. Anyway, it makes using the app difficult as the control box overlays and obscures the gcode box; the mdi box overlays the grbl box, both overlay the position box. Also when not maximized, there is no scroll bar, but when maximized, there is. Very odd.
Overall, a very nice start. I particularly like the setting tab. Other minor nits are already covered by yours and others comments and feedback.
Looking forward to the next release.
